1. Tell us something about yourself?
My name is Guruprasad MK and I belong to Chennai.
2. Education Qualification and Experience
Completed diploma in Central Power Technique College near Chennai, Tamil Nadu and completed my bachelor of Engineering in Civil Department in 2016.
After Completing Bachelor degree i worked in a private company for three years.
3. When did you start preparing for SCC-JE 2019?
I started the prepration in 2019.
4. How did you prepare for SSC-JE?
Self Study
For Prelims:
I prepared notes from YouTube classes like Wi-Fi study for preparation.
Watching videos and preparing separate notes for each subject like history, polity, geography, etc. And after that I made shorts notes and revise them thoroughly. I also use Lucent GK book for Questions practice and Disha Publication for ssc je previous year gk questions.
For Mains:
I follow ESE-Mains previous year question book of IES-master publication and SSC-JE mains previous year question book of ies master publication.
5. How much marks did you score in SSC-JE 2019 Pre Exam and Mains?
I got 147 out of 200 after normalisation in prelims and 179 marks out of 300 in SSC-JE mains.
6. Tell us about the Pre Technical and Non-technical parts
Non-Tech:
In Reasoning I score 32 out of 50 and In GK Part 23.75 out of 50.
Technical
In Technical Part I got 72 out of 100.
7. Which Book you follow for Non-technical and Technical Part?
1) Lucent GK and Disha Publication ssc previous year question for gk.
2) IES-master ese mains questions books and SSC-JE previous year question book.
8. What tips you give to your junior whom are preparing for SSC-JE 2021?
You have to motivate yourself to bear competitive pressure.
I study minimum 8 to 10 hour in a day. Initially you have to prepare yourself mentally for studies and you must have willpower to study for atleast 8 to 10 hours a day. Maintain discipline, consistency and in the whole preparation this will help you to achieve your goal.
