The aim of the day is to honour the contribution of the Central Board of Excise and Custom(CBEC) to Indian economy. 

The Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) celebrates the Central Excise Day across the country.

About CBEC: The Central Excise Board being a primary tax collection agency for the Central Government.

How to celebrate central excise day?

To celebrate the occasion various seminars, educational and cultural events, awareness programs, competitions, and award ceremonies are organized all over the country. Apart from it, awareness programs are also run by the concerned departments and higher authorities.
