Sine Rule | Lami's Theorem | Law of Parallelogram Formula PDF

Law of Parallelogram

It states that if two forces acting simultaneously at a point be represented in magnitude and direction by the two adjacent sides of a parallelogram, their resultant may be represented in magnitude and direction by the diagonal of the Parallelogram, which passes through their point of intersection. This law is valid only for co-planar and concurrent forces.

Sine Rule

Sine Rule is an equation relation the lengths of the sides of any triangle to the sines of its angles.

Lami's Theorem

Lami's Theorem states that "when three forces acting at a point are in equilibrium, then each force is proportional to Sine of the angle between the other two forces".
Lami's Theorem is only applicable for co-planar and concurrent forces.
